We believe in Community and it is important to us to be actively involved with fellow locally-owned small businesses, charitable organizations, professional organizations and local government. We are proud to stand with and behind these wonderful groups of people.
Bonaventure Historical Society:
All of our guides are members of Bonaventure Historical Society and some of us are on the BHS Board. We believe in honoring and respecting the residents of Bonaventure and their families by telling their true stories. There are so many fabricated tales perpetuated by others for entertainment value, but accuracy is important to us. Our tours are full of entertainment with respect for the truth while riding in style and comfort.
Chamber of Commerce:
We have been a member of the Chamber for many years. These folks do a phenomenal job of promoting Savannah around the globe. They work tirelessly to put Savannah on the world stage and promote our town as a premiere place to visit. We wouldn’t be where we are today without them.
Georgia Historical Society:
GHS has an amazing origin story and has been an ardent conservator of Savannah and other Georgia history since 1839. We are proud to be members of this honorable organization. With a vast library of first-hand documents, books, newspapers and other materials, GHS is an invaluable resource for those of us who have an insatiable appetite for Savannah’s history. Without them, we might not be more stupider, but we would be less smarter.
Savannah Association of Local Tours (SALT):
Savannah’s local tour industry is thriving and comprised of many types of offerings from many local companies. We saw the need to create a cohesive Association to advocate for locally-owned small businesses, support local government, promote peaceful living for our neighbors, partner with law enforcement as eyes and ears on the ground and give back to the community by organizing cleanup days to help keep Savannah beautiful.
Savannah Downtown Business Association:
SDBA is an advocacy organization that promotes small businesses in Downtown Historic Savannah. These awesome folks are a strong and ardent support group for the growth and wellness of tour companies, retailers, restaurants, etc. We are grateful to have them in our corner and we are proud to be members of this amazing group.
Tourism Leadership Council:
TLC is a powerhouse organization that serves Savannah and the tourism industry in larger-than-life and powerful ways. They stand up for the little guys and help fight the bullies. They make introductions and foster networking among the local companies. We proudly stand with them as members and resources for them to call upon when needed.
